C. Wine producing value chain
Grape Procurement: It is not difficult to understand why grape growers are the most important and strategic suppliers for wineries. Grape growers, they indeed are forced to make long-term investments in their vineyards and whose production depends highly on natural factors such as climate, seem to be very sensitive about their relation with wineries. The relationship between wineries and grape growers has never been an easy operator. History is full with cases of forward integration from the side of grape growers creating "cooperative wineries" and backward consolidation from the side of wineries buying land from grape growers.
Harvesting
Based of the type and excellence of wine quality , wine needs ageing, and this means inventory and working capital, Harvesting or picking is certainly the first role playing step in the actual wine producing process.
After the grapes been harvested, they have to be sorted according to their quality, in order for the growers to process them, and market their products to the right kind of wineries.

This paper is to describe our approach in entering the Russian market to distribute elite Georgian wine, targeting B2B and B2C customers.
Russia — a huge country. Even given the relatively low population density, the Russians still have a significant impact on the world wine industry. Despite persistent government intervention and active opposition to some countries — the traditional supplier of wine to the Russian market, wine trade in Russia continues to develop and grow.
Ban on Georgian wine in Russia was introduced in 2006, and the formal reason for the ban was the low quality of the Georgian products.
After the Russian ban on the Georgian products, Russian market lacked the elite Georgian wine, and to be more specific, Russian customers lacked Georgian wine at all, and consumed different sort of imported wine especially from European countries.
Never the less, the ban caused a real damage on the Georgian economy specifically to Georgian manufacturers, and the government introduced new tax incentives.
In order too pass the claim of low wine quality, Georgian authorities toke series actions towards fake wine manufacturers, or manufacturers producing low quality products, buy shutting them down.
