The books under the study namely “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” and “The Book of Laughter and Forgetting” are written by Milan Kundera and concern political, social and psychological sides of human life and the events of Czechoslovakia crisis. The art of this Czech writer nowadays is very popular and relevant, because of describing the truth of the relations between Czechoslovakia and Russia and facing the greatest existential problems that people are faced with: love, death, transcendence, the sense of continuity or «heaviness» that is provided by memory, and the contrasting sense of «lightness» that is brought about by forgetting.
More than a half century back, in August, 1945, Japan was subject to the atomic bombings which were carried out by army of the USA. In three days, on August 9, 1945, «the Fat Man» atomic bomb an equivalent 21 kilotons of TNT, have been dumped on the city of Nagasaki by the pilot Charles Suini, the commander of the Bockscar B-29 bomber. Because of low reliability of the records made in those difficult for Japan times, a large number of the victims which have died for months or years later than the tragedy, and because of aspiration of the parties to exaggerate and underestimate losses depending on political intentions, there are still no exact data on human losses from the attacks.

According to the point of view of McMillan, the purpose of science as a branch of human activity is to disclose by research the inner substance of things and phenomena of objective reality and find out the laws regulating them, thus enabling man to predict, control and direct their future development in order to improve the material and social life of mankind [McMillan, 2001: 314].
2) To outline style shaping properties of popular scientific prose
Moreover, the need for communication in the field of science and technology has led to the development of a separate functional style – the scientific style, which is characterized by a number of features. The language of scientific style tends to be objective, precise and emotionless.
It is the top priority of this research to analyse the business letter as a linguistic phenomenon. As a result, to attain the target, we have studied a row of the available sources concerning the theoretical aspects of this question. All the examples in the practical part of the term paper were taken from the textbook “Деловая переписка на английском” translated by N.A. Ganina. The references of the visual materials used in Appendices I and II can be found under the pictures.

The topicality of the research is explained by the profound interest of the modern linguists in the linguacultural aspect of the phraseological units and the numerals taken separately. In our research we combine these two language units, because, according to our provisional hypothesis, the numerals in the phraseological units show the linguacultural specifics being closely related to the mentality of the nation.
Traditions can be divided into different classes: those connected with sports, with entertainments, with holidays and some occasions and those with no particular connection.What we deal with here is a more or less random collection of customs chosen for their particular interest, their importance, former or present, in lives of the people.
