Every lexico-grammatical group of words or class is characterized by its own lexico-grammatical meaning, forming, as it were, the common denominator of all the meanings of the words which belongs to this group. The lexico-grammatical meaning may be also regarded as a feature according to which these words are grouped together. Many recent investigations are devoted to establishing word classes on the basis of similarity of distribution.
Given the unprecedented post-Soviet slump, "doubling the GDP" in a relatively short time, of course, necessary but not in itself and in unity with positive structural shifts in the economy [3].

This topic seems to me very interesting because it concentrates on the lives of outstanding people, their contribution to the world and society, they also can be taken as role models for modern youth.

The methods of investigations used in this bachelor’s paper are descriptive method, the method of classification, comparative method, the method of component analysis and sampling and the statistical method.
The problem of specialized text translation (including economic text translation) was researched by many linguists in Russian and abroad. There are also different scientific articles written by economists, because economists are used to deal with economic texts in origin and in translation. Economic texts also can be different: there are financial texts, marketing texts, banking texts, business texts and other texts describing special area, field of economics. These texts also can be scientific or popular.
There are some scientific works on the subject of the present paper deserving a special mention. They are written by Andrea Rosalia Olteanu, O.V. Babenko, Frank Boers, A. Dvorak and V. Novak, Jianjun Wang and Yize Fan, Jonathan Charteris-Black, Mihaela Vasiloaia, N.L. Nikulshina and N.A. Gunina, Pinfan Zhu.
Democrat looks towards equality under a federal government and a Republican looks towards people looking after themselves. A Democrat stands for government-supported programs like healthcare and giving government subsidies to business, schools and hospitals, which means levying more taxes. A Republican wants decisions to be made at the state level with less government involvement.
Business correspondence is one of the main ways of communication of enterprises, organizations and institutions with the world within the official functional style. The texts of business documents are strictly standardized if compared with other literary texts: it concerns both the structure of the whole text and the arrangement of particular paragraphs.
The present research consists of an Introduction, a Chapter I, which is dedicated to the theoretical survey of the imagery and its types, a Chapter II, where we make an analysis of the usage of the imagery in Wilde’s poems. We describe the different types of the imagery which were used in the poems and its functions in the text.

1. The intensity of the process of replenishment of modern Russian slang new units at the end of XX — early XXI century. This is, of course, the socio-historical background of the Russian language. But this relationship can not be interpreted too literally, explaining a significant recovery and intensive slang-appearance only historical cataclysms. The scientific literature is traditionally divided into three waves in the development of youth slang. The first dates from the 20-ties of the XX century. When the revolution and civil war that completely destroyed the fabric of society, has created an army of street, and it «good» youth are not separated from them, completing the set of «thieves» words. The second wave has a 50-ies, when the streets and dance halls of cities left «dudes». The emergence of third wave is not connected with the era of rapid developments, and with a period of stagnation, when the stifling atmosphere of public life 70-80’s gave birth to various informal youth movements and «hippies», young people created their own «system» as a slang language gesture of confrontation of the official ideology.
We believe that there are reasonable grounds for granting the fourth wave — the current stage of expansion of slang in the late XX — early XXI century. This period of rapid social life in Russia, the collapse of the old politico-economic structures and the beginning of the formation of new ones. Regular amnesty to prisoners reinforce the influence of criminal morality in the society. The result is a slight decline of morals of the population. The language is manifested in the violation of norms of speech, mixing styles and enhance the non-literary units in speech not only youth, but also some of the older generation.
The texts of business documents are strictly standardized if compared with other literary texts: it concerns both the structure of the whole text and the arrangement of particular paragraphs.This paper is devoted to the study of the official functional style of English and linguistic peculiarities of business correspondence in particular.
