Introduction
O. Wilde is one of the most tragic and prominent figures in the history of English literature.
O. Wilde argued that true art has always been the art of lying. Refusal of a beautiful lie, search the truth of life led to the decline of art. "Life is too caustic liquid, — said Oscar Wilde — it destroys the arts, it is the enemy, empties his house."
Aesthetic and ethical views of Oscar Wilde is a bizarre mix-hand-Nietzsche and the cult of beauty. In his works, Wilde tries to illustrate and embody these views, but more often it is because of their talent and honestly of had to refute them; his artistic creativity is higher, truthfulness and humanity of his theoretical positions.
The purpose of the course work is the analysis of selected poems Oscar Wilde in the framework of Impressionism.
In accordance with the purpose it is necessary to solve a number of problems, such as:
describe features of innovation "impressionistic cycle" of Oscar Wilde’s poems;
analyze some poems as objects of Impressionism and decadance;
to draw conclusions about the significance of Oscar Wilde's poetry in impressionism.
