Corporate (or organizational) culture as a form of society's culture manifestation is created and operates according to the same laws as any other social culture but has its own specific. The concept of corporate culture is quite new for Russia but it is for a long time and actively studied abroad. Today Russia is a part of the global world and takes active participation in all spheres. So we should be able to control the processes in multinational companies especially the impact of national and corporate culture on human behavior and be able to apply their knowledge and skills to achieve the best the results of its activities.

Building a training program based around the enhancement of intercultural skills helps employers in the long run. Most companies are going global, and even if their main workforce is in the United States (or is local), in order to compete with larger companies their workers must have a solid understanding of how to interact with other cultures. Even within the U.S., those living in New York might be used to doing business differently from those who live in Florida or anywhere in the south. Proper education about specific cultures is important, due to geographical differences wherever you live. There are important social cues that need to be observed and adapted to, depending on where you are. We’ve come up with a few tips to help you get started.
Within our dissertation work we conducted a survey of over 500 HR and business leaders in more than 30 countries worldwide to explore how HR priorities and challenges have changed during the global economic downturn. Hudson’s study indicates that during this current economic crisis, the focus is not only on cost cutting through right-sizing, but also on talent engagement, talent development, and the retention of talent key to the organization’s success.
